Fall Cleaning Checklist

Wash all windows

Use Windex with old newspaper or if you’re a do-it-
yourself-er, like I am – you can use a splash of Dawn dish-soap
in a spray bottle and use a microfiber cloth!

Vacuum & wipe down your blinds

Brush attachments are perfect for cotton or fabric blinds. Vinyl ones can just be wiped over with a cloth

Clean your ceiling fans

I LOVE Pledge multi-purpose spray and a microfiber cloth for this job! It dampens the dust just enough for it not go go flying all over your house (& the Rainshower one smells delicious!)

Couches, chairs, and cushions

Spot clean (Baking soda or rubbing alcohol goes a long way!)

Kitchen cabinets or cupboards

Take everything out, wipe them down, replace liners, re-organize, throw away tupperware with missing lids!

Refrigerator & Freezer

Clean it out! Wipe down all the shelves, clean the condenser coil with your vacuums brush attachment.

Carpet Cleaning

Buy a carpet cleaner or have it professionally cleaned

Closet Clean-out

Donate or sell clothing that you haven’t worn within the past 6 months, seasonally appropriate.

Extra Tips
